FAQ's
Is climbing just a fad?
No! Unlike trampoline parks or other one-off experiences, climbing changes peoples’ lives. It's here, where people build friendships, create community. learn new skills and grow as individuals. For many people, climbing turns into a hobby, and often, a passion. Naturally, what follows, is spending a lot of time at the gym and the desire to convert everyone they know to start climbing as well.
Climbing is already a popular sport. In 2018, the commercial climbing gym industry saw its most successful year ever, growing at a rate of 11.87%. Across the United States, 50 climbing gyms opened that year. After climbing makes its debut in the Tokyo 2021 Olympic games, the demand for easy, accessible climbing is predicted to grow and spread.
Are climbing gyms a good investment?
Yes! Sure, climbing gyms are expensive to start but after the initial build, the operating costs are quite low.
And what about covid?
Covid is impacting everyone. However, even when making adjustments to account for the economic impacts of covid in our 5 year income and expense report, we are still projected to have a positive operating income by 2022 and a positive net profit by 2023.
