The Leafinator LLC is a Michigan-based, women-owned small business dedicated to reimagining yard care through innovative, ergonomic solutions. The company, founded by Barbara Lyons, was created to address a common problem: the physical strain, discomfort, and inefficiency associated with traditional yard tools. After personally experiencing back pain and recognizing that thousands of people face similar challenges each year, we set out to design a smarter solution.
Our flagship product, the Leafinator Ergonomic Rake, is a patented, multi-functional tool that allows users to rake, grab, and lift leaves and debris using a single device. Its lightweight, user-friendly design helps eliminate the need for bending and stooping, reducing strain on the back, knees, and joints while improving productivity. Our go-to-market strategy will operate on a direct-to-consumer and retail partnership model, with plans to distribute through e-commerce platforms, hardware stores, and big-box retailers, as well as collaborate with municipalities and community cleanup initiatives. The company is currently focused on finalizing manufacturing partnerships and preparing for market launch.
