TryStyle is building the visual commerce layer for fashion retail, designed to eliminate the single biggest barrier to online apparel sales: shopper hesitation.
Most ecommerce tools focus on size recommendations to reduce returns. But size alone doesn’t close the sale. Shoppers hesitate because they can’t picture how clothing will actually look on their body. That uncertainty stalls decisions and depresses conversion long before a return ever happens.
TryStyle restores the missing mirror.
Shoppers create a quick, smartphone-based avatar and instantly see garments simulated on their own proportions—showing real drape, silhouette, and fit. When customers can see themselves, confidence rises, decisions happen faster, and conversion improves. Returns decline naturally because better decisions are made upfront, but revenue growth is the primary driver.
For retailers, TryStyle integrates directly into Shopify or WooCommerce with no hardware and minimal lift. The platform typically delivers measurable conversion gains while reducing costly reverse logistics. As adoption grows, TryStyle aggregates anonymized body distributions, fit outcomes, and preference signals—creating a living intelligence layer that helps brands optimize sizing, grading, and inventory planning. This moves TryStyle from a front-end experience to core infrastructure.
Our business model is straightforward: SaaS licensing for retailers, pilot programs, and enterprise data and analytics subscriptions that compound in value as usage grows.
Execution is driven by a focused team. Maria leads operations and delivery, keeping pilots and integrations on track. Deborah drives strategic partnerships and opens retailer doors. Rachel translates the product into compelling growth and marketing programs. Scalacode provides the engineering depth to ship reliable AI and integrations fast.
As founder, I bring decades of leadership in technology, operations, and large-scale problem solving, with a track record of building and executing complex systems under pressure. TryStyle reflects that mindset: ship, test, prove, scale.
We’re not another fit widget. We’re turning hesitation into revenue—and becoming the layer retailers rely on to sell with confidence.
The leader behind the vision - Rich Blecher, retired United States Air Force Major.
Rich Blecher is not a traditional fashion tech founder. He is a systems thinker, an operator, and a leader who has spent his career solving complex, mission-critical problems using advanced technology.
Rich grew up in a blue-collar family where discipline and responsibility were not optional. He became the first in his family to attend college, driven by a commitment to serve and to build something larger than himself.
In 1989, he was commissioned into the United States Air Force as a navigator in a reconnaissance aircraft. Over a 20-year career, he deployed 39 times, operating in high-stakes environments where precision, decision-making, and systems integration directly impacted mission success.
His leadership later extended to strategic roles at the Pentagon and Headquarters levels, where he supported senior Air Force leadership, including the Chief of Staff, and contributed to initiatives aligned with presidential directives. During this time, Rich worked with early artificial intelligence and machine learning systems, helping integrate emerging AI technologies into operational defense programs and training environments.
Long before AI became a commercial trend, Rich was applying it to solve real-world problems in developing future artificial reality training environments to using AI to map out body and facial recognition to expedite identification of friend of foe.
After retiring from military service, he identified a massive inefficiency hiding in plain sight. The global apparel industry, valued in the trillions, still relies on outdated sizing standards, limited body data, and fragmented feedback loops.
The result is over $500 billion in annual returns, lost revenue, and unsolved consumer frustration.
Rich saw not just a problem, but an opportunity to fundamentally transform how products are designed, visualized, and fitted.
He founded TryStyle to build the infrastructure layer for fit, not just at the retail level, but design fit for the future of fashion.
Today, TryStyle applies artificial intelligence to both visual and physical fit, enabling consumers to see themselves in clothing with unprecedented realism while providing brands with actionable body data to design more accurately from the start. This is not an incremental improvement. It is a foundational shift in how apparel is created and experienced.
Rich brings together decades of operational leadership, applied AI experience, and strategic execution to build technology designed to scale globally.
What makes his leadership exceptional is not just his experience, but his clarity. He understands how to build systems that work, teams that execute, and technology that solves meaningful problems.
The opportunity ahead is enormous, and we are just getting started.
