The SCO2 system has created the next stage of evolution for oil extraction. We succeeded by combining cold-press and SCFE (super critical fluid extraction) for botanical essential oils, seed oils and industrial food oils. SCO2, LLC core product is the patent-pending CO2 extraction process and equipment. Our product will drive the future of the essential oils markets, which was valued at US$ 9.42 Bn. in 2020 and is expected to grow at a 9.31% CAGR, reaching nearly US$ 17.57 Bn by 2027. We are seeking funding of $750,000 to complete commercialization.
Phase 1) The SCO2 team has laid the groundwork to become an exclusive processer and supplier of hop oils extracted through our process to mid-market hop growers and distributors. These growers and distributors currently have no way to offer hop oils to their existing customers. We currently are delivering hop oils for pilot tests with brewers from our existing equipment that’s processing in Minnesota. We plan to grow by adding two more regional plants, first Vermont then Oregon. These will be built, owned, and operated by SCO2 in the next 18-24 months. The relationships are in place with locations and suppliers identified in the growth locations. With roughly 8700 potential customers total in the craft brew market, we will be able to become the highest value supplier delivering both pure and blended hops flavors never imagined possible. Our clients will save on brewing costs and with the use of the SCO2 hop oils created for them give a unique advantage for setting themselves apart from other breweries. Our existing plant could provide a $54k MRR at 50% capacity when completed in May of 2022. (Dependent on funding timing)
Phase 2) Expand revenue streams through equipment sales and technology licenses.
Phase 3) Complete development of the 20 ton to 200 ton an hour system for corn oil extraction in front of ethanol production and expand into carbon capture from industrial processes combined with extraction to multiply profit potential.
