Market Potential: The market potential for our suite of tools is substantial. Industries such as construction, HVAC, horticulture, electrical work, and photovoltaic installations are experiencing rapid growth and demanding innovative solutions to streamline processes, increase accuracy, and enhance efficiency. Our products are designed to meet these demands and create a significant impact.
Financial Projections: Our financial projections (for BenderPro only) are based on market research and a well-defined pricing strategy. With production costs totaling $50.00 per unit with 3D-printing, we allocate $30.00 for final assembly resulting in a healthy $19.00 profit margin per unit at a wholesale price of $99.00 each. This pricing strategy ensures competitiveness while generating sustainable profits. As we expand our reach and capture market share, we anticipate exponential growth in revenue and profitability. While there is no additional cost associated with providing 3D-printed custom colors for the body, faceplate, and holster, customizing colors for schools and businesses could add an additional profit of $10.00 to $25.00 per unit sold. Injection molding has been explored but the cost of the dies and molds, as well as the limited color range and large quantities required for each color, make this process seem less attractive and flexible than pre-ordering many colors of 3D-printed devices and mixing/matching per request.
Business Description: The Company is formed as Sole Proprietorship under California state laws as Distinctive Constructive Technology and headed by Baran Galocy. California licensed electrician from 1991 through 2022.

II. BUSINESS SUMMARY
Industry Overview: In the United States, the hand tools industry is predicted to make 28 billion dollars in annual sales.
Most market trends are semi-static in the field with most end-user dollars going towards simple digital levels. There is little in the market that compares to either the BenderPro or the MILIEU METER. Both are unique and perform functions that have yet to be offered by other electronic tool manufacturers.
Research shows that consumers in this industry primarily focus on the following factors when making purchasing decisions:
Customers contemplating the purchase of a BenderPro are trying to save time and money and increase their efficiency and accuracy when bending conduit and/or measuring angles.
Customers looking at the MILIEU METER want to know precisely how much heat energy is contained in the air. This, and ensuing calculations, aid HVAC designers in fine-tuning the operations of their equipment and supply necessary information to anyone who operates a building with a variable amount of humidity, including agriculture and horticulture. MILIEU METER can predict storms and weather conditions based on the changing atmospheric conditions it is sensing and displaying in real time.
Legal Issues: The Company affirms that its promoters have acquired, or are acquiring, all necessary legal trademarks and patents.
III. MARKETING SUMMARY
Target Markets: The Company's major target markets are as follows:
BenderPro: Electricians, HVAC technicians and designers, carpenters, handywo/men, owner-builders.
MILIEU METER: Indoor agricultural and horticultural operators, balloonists, campers, hikers, meteorologists, home weather enthusiasts.
The estimated number of potential new BenderPro sales clients per year over 10 years is 79,900. This does not include the 470,000 Journeymen electricians and 309,900 licensed electricians currently in the market nor the unlicensed workers who still buy tools, comprising over 800,000 potential BenderPro buyers.
Pricing Strategy: The Company has completed a thorough analysis of its competitors' pricing. Keeping in mind our competition's pricing and the costs of customer acquisition, we are reviewing the following pricing strategy:
With nothing on the market that compares to either device, the option is to maximize market value and profit with a list price of up to $175 for the BenderPro (selling for $150) and up to $150 for the MILIEU METER (selling for $125).
The BenderPro saves time and enables greater efficiency when bending and mounting conduit. The annual savings is a factor of ten to twenty times the retail investment per year of use.
The MILIEU METER pays for itself the first time it detects a potentially harmful reading in an indoor agricultural or horticultural setting or warns of a dangerous oncoming weather condition. Options will allow for basic gas detection and analysis.
Distribution Strategy: Product distribution begins with product awareness. YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, et al. will help to soften the market such that buyers for larger distributors such as Lowes, Home Depot, Ace, True Value, etc. will already be familiar with the device through exposure to social media. Meanwhile, local distribution to contractors and supply houses will help grow interest and awareness.
Outreach will be incremental to allow for tooling up to the next distribution goal. This process could also be released to a competent distribution marketer.
Promotional Strategy: The Company will promote sales using the following methods:
Marketing will take place, primarily, on YouTube, X, Facebook, and other social media using the available demographics and filters to select the ideal target audience. Dynamic retargeting will be used on companies who view DC Tech ads to re-expose them to the brand. Using Google Analytics, follow-through will occur with Facebook, Snapchat, Twitter, and LinkedIn to place ads that are appropriately matched to the target audience.
Primary video ads will be created for each product and a multiplicity of "Here's How You . . ." ads as follow-ups and retargets. The DJI Osmo 6 gimbal will be used to create the components of the ads with an iPhone 12 for clean, 4K footage with software to assemble a large number of recording “takes.”
Additional advertisement will come from distribution to technology and tool reviewers (influencers) who will be sent a free example for their review. Large companies and HVAC and electrician schools will also receive a free loaner/keeper device with a return label or reduced payment information for the first device.
SWOT Analysis
Strengths
The strength of Distinctive Construction Technology lies in the flexibility to redesign any aspect of the devices, from software to the 3D STL files hired out for 3D printing. DC Tech can turn a product change from an idea to an actuality in 48 hours, or less. This allows the company to be responsive to the comments of core users – electricians, HVAC designers/installers, and general contractors.
Weaknesses
At this moment, I am living off credit cards, having depleted my savings earlier this year. I have lived frugally while designing these devices, but I am still almost $35,000 in debt and this is unsustainable and a great hinderance on development. Part of my search for a backer is to cover the expenses I have incurred over my last one and one-half years of research and development.
Opportunities
There is nothing on the market that looks like, acts like, or offers the flexibility of either the BenderPro or the MILIEU METER. There is an opportunity to "hit the ground running" and distribute devices before other manufacturers even know what is competing with them.
The market is wide open for other technically oriented, construction-based, labor-saving devices including MeasureMouse and SolarPro.
Threats
The only threats to this business are universal and not limited to any device, field of endeavor, or scope of production. There will always be knock-offs appearing in the periphery that will attempt to take a piece of the market share. The preferred strategy is to get the attention of one, or more, major manufacturers of electronic tools and sell, or license, the patent. Beyond that, DC Tech will always innovate ahead of large and slow manufacturers.
Competition: In the electronic tools industry, customers make choices and, based upon design intention, the purchase of a BenderPro will save time and money and increase their efficiency and accuracy when bending conduit and/or measuring angles.
Customers looking at the MILIEU METER want to know precisely how much heat energy is contained in the air. This, and ensuing calculations, aid HVAC designers in fine-tuning the operations of their equipment, suppling necessary information to anyone who operates a building with a variable amount of humidity. it can predict storms and weather conditions based on the changing atmospheric conditions it is sensing. This information can be sent to a smartphone that has downloaded a simple app.
The level of competition in the tool manufacturing/distribution industry is cautious, at best. The philosophy is to replicate that which receives positive acclaim and sales without risking anything in the process. This industry-wide proclivity makes the timing ripe for introducing new devices that behave in ways far differently than existing supply chain devices, while offering incredible value.
The primary competitors (who may also, one day, purchase DC Tech) are the following companies (some of which are part of a larger group):
Gardner
Greenlee
Ideal
Klein
Makita
Milwaukee
NSI
Southwire
Stanley
.
However, we believe that DC Tech has the following competitive advantages:
Flexibility: A design change can be made on a whim and realized in 24 - 48 hours. Production of any device can cease immediately if required. By delegating assembly and distribution, a competitor’s design can be responded to in days or weeks, not months or years.
"What If" mentality: I tend to seek the best possible design assistance and iteration in my devices, starting over two years ago. I now meet with a business consultant, SCORE representative, and a local tech incubator. This allows me to get my ideas out there in front of the actual end-users to receive valuable design and production feedback in real time.
Conclusion: Innovation drives progress, and our suite of tools—BenderPro, MILIEU METER, MeasureMouse, and SolarPro—are poised to redefine industries and enhance professionals' capabilities. We are seeking strategic investor partnerships to propel our growth, expand our market presence, and create a lasting legacy of innovation. Join us in shaping the future of construction, atmospheric measurement, electrical work, and photovoltaic installations.
