Red Barn Livestock LLC

Red Barn Livestock is a small family farm that breeds, and raises show pigs to be sold as projects to the youth participating in local and national 4H & FFA programs, we also produce gilts and boars to be sold to other breeders and boar studs. We have been in operation since 2018, officially forming as Red Barn Livestock LLC in 2020. We have had numerous successful seasons with our current herd but we are looking to expand to fulfil the demand in the market place that is required of us. Current conservative market projections are showing revenue north of 175K/ year. within the next 3 years. These projections are based off previous cost per unit actual revenue over the last 3 years of $600/head. future market cost per unit projections are trending closer to $750 /head as competitors exit the market place due to COVID-19 impacts. Red Barn Livestock has not been as negatively impacted due to strategic slowdown in operation production and our connections in the industry that allowed us to pivot and sell our outstanding unit as feeder pigs at the same relative market value. this was something our competitors where not able to do. Additionally we are seeing and  increased enrollment numbers  both locally and nationally in 4H and FFA programs. Jackpot shows and county fairs are bouncing back. which are all good signs of a healthy market place. with demand increasing post COVID, less breeders, and Red Barn Livestocks facilities and operations already in place we are ready to leap forward and take the foothold on the Showpig Market here in Arizona and grow nationally. all that we need is an investment, withc will allow us to grow our herd and improve and expand our facilities.

Red Barn Livestock is registered as an LLC through the state of Arizona, with entity members being Shelby and Tanner Schafersman. 

Shelby has 10+ years experience in the agriculture industry, specifically the swine production industry and has served as Arizona State FFA officer Vice President, She is acting Farm Manager, and directly oversees all production operations and client development

Tanner has 3 years experience working in the agriculture industry along with family background in agriculture, Tanner has received his Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Arizona State University in 2018. with a focus on cost management and scheduling. Tanner manages finances and planning and marketing operations for Red Barn Livestock
