QuikConnect Products LLC

           QuikConnect Products, LLC is a limited Liability Company founded by Richard Elbert, which specializes in simplification of electrical wiring. Our primary product is QuikConnect Pre-Wired Electrical Junction Box, which is based on our QuikConnect Plug and Play Electrical Connectors. Our pre-wired electrical junction box eliminates internal junction box wiring.
      Typhically to connect six wires inside of a standard junction box you would need one-hour, wire pliers, wire cutters, black friction tape and wire nuts to twist on to the twisted wires.  To install wiring for five electrical circuits and a power supply circuit would consist of breaking out access panels on the junction box to allow the insertion of six wires.  After you pull about six to eight inches of the wires into the junction box, you strip the outer sheathing back at least six inches to expose the three inner wires.  After removing the paper insulation, you would have to remove an inch to an inch and half of the wire insulation from the black and white wire.  After removing the sheathing and insulation from all six wires, you would braid three of the black wires together with a jumper wire by twisting the wires together with the wire pliers.  After they are twisted together, you would twist a wire nut onto the wires and then wrap that joining with electrical tape.  You would then do the same for the remaining two black circuit wires combined with the jumper wire.  You would then repeat this procedure for the white wires.  The common wires, which are bare, are all twisted together into one bundle and shoved into the junction box.  The black wires are pushed and placed into the junction box along with the white wires.  After successful placement, the junction box is covered with a junction box top.
       QuikConnect pre-wired electrical junction box eliminates the majority of the outlined steps as all of the internal wiring for the interior of the junction box has already been done.  To install wiring in a QuikConnect pre-wired junction box, you would strip back one inch of the external sheathing exposing the three interior wires.  You would remove the paper insulation between the wires and strip one-half inch of insulation from the black and white wire.  You would then lift the three levers on the connector and insert all three bare wires into the female electrical connector.  You would then close the three electrical levers on the connector.  You would repeat this process for the other five wires and then put the cover on the junction box.  The entire installation should take approximately ten minutes with the majority of the time spent in removing the sheathing and insulation from the wires.
       Our business model is an LLC, which produces products based on our electrical plug and play technology.  Our patented pre-wired electrical junction box is the flagship of our company, but it built upon our plug and play electrical connectors, which are the basis for other products, which we are developing such as light switches, outlets and the corresponding outlet and switch boxes. We can appreciate a very wide customer base including electricians, contractors, new homebuilders, housing developers and do-it-yourselfers.  With over one million new homes being built per year, which use an average of eight to ten junction boxes per home, just in the new home development market we have a potential market of over eight to ten million junction boxes per year.  In addition, if we only consider 10% of that market, we are still looking at over 800,000-1,000,000 junction boxes per year.  Moreover, of course this model is not inclusive of the need for new light switch boxes and outlet boxes, which fit into our plug and play technology.  Because our electrical plug and play technology is so easy to use, it would be accurate to say that even a nonprofessional can install electrical wiring in a residential or commercial building using our technology. 
       Our initial marketing strategy is very simple and will be based on email and phone contact of electrical unions, general contracting affiliates and new home developers beginning with the state of California.  We picked California because it is the largest builder of new homes per year in the country.  We plan to email and call the memberships of the electrical unions.  Our plan is to introduce our products by writing and verbally, by email and telephone, explain how they work and offer to send 10-20 electrical boxes to possibly as many as 500 of such contacts as a free trial.  Moreover, of course we must have our E-Commerce website developed to the extent that we can accept orders for new products from such contacts who appreciate our product.  During this marketing phase, we plan to establish contact with Home Depot, Lowes, Sutherlands, Ace Hardware and other hardware stores who may wish to carry our product.  We feel that if this is our initial advertising thrust to alert the market to our presence, we should be able to provoke awareness and subsequently, sales. To further substantiate our sales, it is our intention to concentrate on making the homebuilder markets, such as real estate developers, architects and structural engineers more aware of our products.  We feel that by making such entities and individual aware of our products, they will be specific in their building plans to include the use of our products. 
     Our initial product packaging for QuikConnect Pre-wired Junction Box will include the box itself and six male connectors.  We will also sell the boxes without connectors separately and sell the connectors, packaged in units of six connectors, separately, for those individuals who may have damaged their boxes or connectors and need only the singular parts.
