Civic Logos is a chat-first AI platform for public reasoning. It turns important claims into living records with evidence, objections, AI-assisted reader notes, human review decisions, and visible revision history.
The product is live at CivicLogos.com. Users can ask the public record what changed, what remains unresolved, what evidence is attached, or what would move a claim forward. If a user wants to challenge a claim, add a source, submit a correction, or raise an implementation concern, Civic Logos can structure that input as a pre-ledger candidate for human review.
The core distinction is that AI does not decide truth or write directly into the public record. AI can classify, summarize, steelman, critique, route, and structure contributions, but human review is required before a candidate becomes a public contribution. Formal revision events preserve what changed, why it changed, and what remains unresolved.
Civic Logos is not a social media platform, a debate forum, or a generic chatbot. It is a public reasoning layer where claims can retain memory: evidence, objections, assumptions, review decisions, and revision history stay attached to the claim itself.
The first live use cases are healthcare policy and foundational science. The current healthcare card examines administrative simplification and AI-assisted triage, while the Physics Foundations room tests how standard definitions, Planck-scale claims, symbolic interpretations, and scientific baselines can be held without collapsing speculation into fact.
The long-term business model includes institutional issue rooms, civic issue diagnostics, hosted review workflows, public correction ledgers, AI-assisted research/review tools, API access, and structured reports for organizations that need transparent reasoning around hard public questions. Potential customers include universities, nonprofits, public-interest newsrooms, professional associations, civic organizations, companies, foundations, and local governments.
Civic Logos is currently founder-built by Nick Rindal and operated as an early-stage project. The current V2 release includes the chat-first front door, conservative topic routing, pre-ledger candidate intake, maintainer-gated promotion, public ledger/audit surfaces, and an open-source Reasoning Ledger direction.
