Proximity Technology was founded as a specialist in the development of an innovative mobile and cloud based solution set leveraging Bluetooth, IOT, Near Field Communication (NFC) and Biometrics to automate everyday business processes.  The implementation of these technologies provides an optimal security measure resulting in difficult to breach security protocols.  Noted as stronger than encryptions or password protections biometrics are extremely difficult to duplicate or fake. Proximity Technology in working closely with companies to build and deploy solutions, which require automation and rigorous security.

Proximity Technology is seeking investments totaling $500,000 (minimum investment of $25,000) for a software development project to integrate the use of its mWeight waste management system currently in use with Suez and Green Arabia into a  Smart City ecosystem.  A smart city is an urban area where technology and data collection help improve quality of life as well as the sustainability and efficiency of city operations. Smart Waste Management optimizes waste collection and recycling systems.

THE DEVELOPMENT PROJECT 

Background
Proximity Technology Inc (PTI) is providing waste management solution to a number of leading waste management players such as Suez and Green Arabia. PTI has developed a mobile application integrated with weighing machines that captures waste collection data (including GPS information) in the central server. This is used by multiple waste collection agencies for recording the waste they collect from various facilities like hotels, malls, hospitals, etc. PTI wanted to connect their existing application into the blockchain network to manage the waste and bring transparency into the ecosystem and improve platform efficiency. This proposed platform would facilitate the provenance of the waste management to the various participants and provide tracking of their activities.

mAccess (Mobile Time & Attendance Solution) a seamless and automated system, that provides a comprehensive approach to employee time attendance management and enables both the employer and employee utmost transparency to manage working hours, meetings, leaves, holidays and absences. Our highly accurate attendance management system has a unique AI-powered face verification system, anti-spoof GPS capturing mechanism, supports remote working and off-line functionality. Data is captured and monitored in a centralized admin portal and can be customized to generate specific reports, integrated with a customer’s SAP and ERP system.

 

mWeight (Weight Automation Solution) Provides accurate weight reading, collating, tracking and timely submission of the weight logs. Based on the latest IOT technologies, the weight data can be captured seamlessly from the weighing scale to the mobile application and synced to the backend server. It is ideal for organizations where weighing, tracking and monitoring weight is an important function, and is the answer for waste removal and collection companies where errors in weight reading can lead to fines or substantial loss of business.

mCashless is our pre-paid cashless solution, based on NFC technology is ideal for those locations where credit cards cannot be used and handling hard cash could be challenging. Recommended for organizations running events, exhibitions and entertainment Parks, the system is easy to install and use. Organizations both large and small can now leverage the speed and statistics-gathering power of closed-loop cashless payments coupled with access control systems without the need for reliable Internet coverage, expensive on-site support or approval of the financial institutions.

Proximity Technology sells and markets its proximity-based application solutions primarily as a Software-as-a-Solution (SaaS) model with the ability to use Smartphone and tablets as the front-end interface synchronized to a backend cloud-based server for analytics and reporting. The applications have a low barrier to entry for setup and configuration and can be licensed on a consumption basis.  

At Proximity Technology our expertise is in utilizing proximity-based-technology such as Mobile Access and Authentication, Near-field Communication (NFC), Bluetooth, GPS, Facial Recognition and Fingerprint Imaging to solve business challenges. mAccess, is a cloud-based application comprising a front-end mobile application on iOS and Android and backend web application developed with PHP Laravel with MySQL database (SQL database can be used to depending on operational requirements). The communication between the backend and the front-end is conducted over the Internet via a series of APIs, using HTTPS protocol and Web Services technology. Several levels of authentication have been implemented to guarantee access only to authorized users.

FUNDING-TO-DATE AND FINANCIAL REQUIREMENTS 

Proximity’s two founders (Kenneth Volet and Sanjukta Ray) presently own 98% of the outstanding shares of the Company.  Proximity has acquired from Dubai Leading Technologies intellectual property associated with its major software product lines: mAccess; mWeight; and mCashless.  DLT will now focus on the hardware side of their business and software sales of PTI products in the Middle East through a software reseller agreement with Proximity. 

 

Proximity Technology seeks a seed investment totaling $500,000 (minimum investment of $25,000) in return for a 20% equity stake in the Company.. Proceeds will be used to add Blockchain developers to the technical staff, regional representation, sales staffing,  patent and copyright protection for IP and development of new core technologies
