About: Joe & Bella is the first modern adaptive clothing brand for older adults and differently abled individuals; making dressing faster, safer, and less painful. Our patented products combine ease of use with style, addressing the underserved need for dignified, practical apparel in healthcare and for daily living.

Our Products: Cara Sumpton has led the initial development of our launch line. Cara was on the startup design team for Lululemon and designed the launch lines for Figs, Public Rec and more. Joe & Bella has also acquired the patent license for CareZipsĀ® adaptive-wear technology and we were recently named "Up and Comer" of the Year" by Chicago Innovation and our pants were named "Best New Product" by Caregiver.com.

Traction: Joe & Bella grew 100%+ from Q3 to Q4, despite not  increasing acquisition spend. The growth was largely driven organically (265% quarterly traffic growth).

Fundraising: Joe & Bella's is currently raising our seed round. Our current investors include:
  • Senior Care Investors:
    • Brigwell Angel Group: Owns/operates Priority Life Care -- a growing senior housing network with 50+ locations.
    • Hamilton Insurance: Provides insurance for 3,000 senior housing locations.
    • Third Act Ventures: The original "AgeTech" VC who only invests in brands that are "revolutionizing aging."
    • Vium Capital: Provides mortgages for senior housing with $4B+ in assets under management.
  • Venture Investors:
    • Sandalphon Capital
    • Sweet Spot Capital
    • Everywhere Ventures (formerly known as The Fund)
  • Advisors
    • The Ember Fund: We're being advised by the Ember Fund, who offers inventory financing.

And, by Chitra Balireddi, she is the current CCO of Glossier, and was formerly CEO of Terez and Head of Retail Operations for Chanel
