Hello, my name is Braeden Anderson. I'm the CEO of Absecon Capital, the innovative hospitality group behind Kook Burger, Kook Burger & Bar, Black Turtle Coffee, and Jester Castle. We recently hired Perkins Coie to assist us with our seed raise via a $5 million dollar SAFE. We're on pace to do over $4 million in revenue in 2023 (only our second year), and our concepts are expanding rapidly.
As a brief personal introduction, my journey began at global legal giants like Kirkland & Ellis LLP and Sidley Austin LLP. As a big law attorney, I tackled complex challenges for major companies and institutions, excelling under pressure. I also served as the Assistant General Counsel of Regulatory at Robinhood Markets, Inc. I now focus full-time on propelling Absecon Capital, demonstrating my unyielding commitment to success.

- Black Turtle Coffee is a premium coffee company, and small-batch coffee roaster, specializing in all organic, single origin coffee from the world’s most desirable regions. Locations in Brigantine, NJ on 3101 Revere Blvd., Unit A; and in Philadelphia, PA on 2100 Chestnut St.
- Kook Burger & Bar is an expansion of the Kook Burger concept in the form of a full-service sports bar that features a larger menu along with a wide variety of craft beer, margarita and whisky flights, and delicious cocktails that perfectly pair with your meal. The concept has went viral on social media—and the KBB Instagram touts nearly 100,000 followers since opening in February 2023. The KB&B menu features our original hand-crafted and made-to-order smash burgers and our famous Shoobie Shake® milkshakes— adding homemade nachos, salads, fried pickles and cheese curds, chicken wings and chicken sandwiches, specialty fries, and more. Located in Philadelphia, PA on the 1st Floor of 2102 Market St.
- Kook Burger is a fast-casual version of the above concept specializing in hand-crafted and made-to-order smash burgers, chicken sandwiches, over-the-top Shoobie Shake® milkshakes, truffle fries, poutine, and more. Located in Brigantine, NJ on 3101 Revere Blvd., Unit B.
