In 1978, John Esposito got behind the wheel of would become his first P-Car, a 1958 356 Coupe. It was this first of many vehicles that would shape John’s passion for the brand, after having worked in a few shops before where he was fortunate to hone his craft on early 356 models. Behind one of these shops, sitting next to a chain link fence in an alley, was the Coupe. John would pass it daily, on his way in and out of work, admiring from afar but never taking the time to stop. Until one fateful day when he finally veered left instead of right, made his way over to peer in the window, and from that moment on- he was hooked. Less than a week later, John would buy the car for only $1750 (roughly $15,000 by today’s standards- and still a hell of a steal!).

It was from this moment on that John would know he was destined to honor the namesake brand. And so, John worked for the next decade to save enough to start his own venture, which would ultimately land him in the position he finds himself in today… the culmination of all of the hard work, knowledge, passion, relationships amassed over the decades, coupled with acreative knack for the Flare, John finally found a way to bring his love for Porsche and his respect for the creators and their designs, melding it into our newly minted: ESPO.

Over a 40 year span of building cars for others, listening to their desires, honing the craft and continuing to improve upon what was… John learned that the look of the early model 911 was sacred. The sleek lines are synonymous with the name itself, the rounded roof and the elongated flares, the low side rockers, the Frog-like front beams to the stylish tail of a whale; each facet of the carefully-created-classic has been etched into the mind of the Porsche lover, world-wide. It is with this knowledge and respectin mind that John knew what his next step needed to be.

Give them what they want.

John would go on to create a custom prototype Porsche 911 that maintains the esthetics of the easily recognizable car, while coupling it with the plush and modern features of even the most bespoke of GT3s on the market today (well, almost). By combining the best of both worlds, the Espo allows clients to truly create the car of their dreams while maintaining and increasing on the value of the car as is.  It almost sounds too good to be true. Doesn’t it?

Well, dreams can come true. After carefully crafting and meticulously calculating for nearly a decade, and partnering with a few select clients on the first few builds, the ESPO is ready to officially be unveiled.

The “Espo” is the first of it’s kind in the world of Porsche Resto-Mods. With the exterior components that we all love carefully maintained to the best of our ability, we simultaneously offer custom one of a kind (designed by John) flares to support a wider stance and to provide room for the proverbial safety net to go with the upgraded motors mega punch. We then upgrade the interiors to a truly bespoke experience, bringing the modern day accouterment of Blue Tooth capabilities, state of the art sound systems, plush leathers and gorgeous patterns and the occasional pops of color, allow for the early 911 to become the modern day mover, both near and far- in all climates, terrains and environments, and for even the most discerning of drivers.

The cherry on top of these “beauty-meets- beast” builds are the 4.0L Flat Six Air Cooled motors* that have taken the best components of race and street, melding them into a state of the art engine fit for even the most skilled drivers. With upgraded exhausts, patented Intake Systems, and fail safe features to handle those pesky stall outs; coupled with beefed up suspensions, complete coil overs, turbo brake upgrades, including torsion tube and suspension reinforcements to lock the chassis down so it can handle the 420HP on custom “Fuch” style center lock wheels, checking off every box the Porsche Resto-Mod connoisseur could dream of. (*MAD/ESPO upgrade.)
