My name is Paccer Sexton and I am the General Manager for the new Louisiana Venom Professional Football Franchise for the APFL, American Premier Football League. This is our first year in existence. We are a professional football team that will compete in the Fall season, Sep-Jan. We are playing our home games at Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana for the 2025 season. We are 1 of 10 teams that are part of the APFL.
American Premier Football League is a new professional football league that consists of 10 franchise teams, most of which are in the top 50 television markets in the country. The season will be played in the Fall, September-February, starting the Fall 2025, and will be televised and broadcasted nationwide. APFL is not a secondary league or an inferior league to any other professional football league, but instead, a professional football league consisting of the very best players in the country, along with the best coaching and administrative staff.
What is the difference between them and us? There will be few changes to the rules of APFL games as compared to other professional football leagues. One major difference will be more affordable tickets and concession process. We look forward to bringing the country, nonetheless the world, the most exciting and competitive game of professional football.
