Designed 2 Dribble (D2D) was founded by Cheryl Sellers [me], a service-disabled veteran, after I witnessed my son, an exceptional scholar, leader, and athlete become discouraged when he was not selected for a very prestigious program.  I assured him that not being accepted into the program did not define him or his abilities and encouraged him to re-direct his strengths and to further separate himself from the ordinary, inspiring him to Never Give Up.  As a result, he bounced back by aligning his passion for basketball with this new vision to create something that inspires others to find their purpose and identity.

D2D is hoping to bring more color and artistry to basketball courts around the world by producing high quality, exclusive basketballs adorned with our patented and patent-pending designs.  We are revitalizing the appearance of basketballs with vibrant color combinations to effectively signify and promote a player's or team's uniqueness.  The color schemes and patterns are intented to stimulate self-esteem and positive responses in youth, adults, physically-challenged individuals, and sports enthusiasts alike.   With our exclusive basketballs, we aspire to motivate young people to realize their purpose and full achieve their full potential.  By inspiring them to make a difference in their lives, we hope they will make a difference in the world.

I've  invited Corporations, Non-Profits, Universities, and Faith-Based Organizations to utilize my products as offerings at fundraisers, gifts to employees and their families, patrons, and to strengthen community relationships.  Our passion is giving back and we've vowed to give a portion of our proceeds to the Paralyzed Veterans of America.

I've partnered with a sourcing company to source and produce D2D's athletic balls custom printed on premium synthetic composite leather plus considering ShipBob as my Fullfillment Center.

I am the sole-employee plus a new entrepreneur therefore I rely heavily on my Mentors at George Mason University Small Business Development Center for advice and assistance.

D2D is a licensed vendor with Omega Psi Phi Fraternity,  Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Kappa Psi Alpha Fraternity and Tuskegee Airmen Incorporated.

I  would also like to parter with corporations which serve as  primary  sellers of athletic gear on and off the court plus introduce my product to companies  such as Evian water.

I am requesting $150,000 in funding to assist with covering some of the expected costs which are  inventory,  product packaging, shipping, website, marketing materials, fraternity licensing, vendor booth fees.

Thanking you in advance for your consideration.
