Who we are:
Darren and Suzanne Boles are a values-driven husband-and-wife team, parents of three daughters, and experienced operators in both healthcare (dental) and real estate. Together, they have built a life and business rooted in service, resilience, and long-term vision.
Suzanne began her real estate journey in 1997 after returning from four years of teaching English in Tokyo. At 27, she came back to the United States with $40,000 in savings and a clear commitment to invest wisely. She purchased a three-family property in Boston in 1998, shortly after the end of Boston Rent Control Repeal, during a period of strong market growth. Within two years, the property appreciated approximately $200,000.
Building on that success, Suzanne leveraged a home equity line of credit to acquire and renovate a two-family Victorian in Somerville, MA. She lived in one unit, rented out the other unit, and steadily increased her cash flow. This growing passive income allowed her to launch her own commercial photography studio—transitioning from assisting other photographers to running her own business. With academic backgrounds in Photography and Organizational Communication, she quickly scaled both income streams to exceed $16,000 per month.
Suzanne spent nearly a decade building her career in Boston before marrying Darren in 2006 and relocating to New Hampshire, where they began raising their family.
Dr. Darren Boles brings a strong foundation of discipline and leadership to their partnership. He served in the 101st Airborne Division and earned his dental degree from LSU School of Dentistry in 1996. After eight years as an associate, he founded his own dental practice in New Hampshire’s Lakes Region in 2004. His commitment to clinical excellence and patient care led to being recognized as one of New Hampshire’s top dentists for six consecutive years.
In 2017, Darren and Suzanne made a strategic and purpose-driven decision to sell his original practice and acquire a larger, five-dentist practice in St. Johnsbury, Vermont—along with the real estate it occupied. This move allowed them to expand access to care for underserved populations while also strengthening their real estate investment portfolio.
Their journey has not been without challenges. Suzanne navigated the 2008 Financial Crisis by selling her Boston property, and during the uncertainty of the COVID-19 Pandemic, she made the difficult decision to sell another property to support the dental practice.
Rather than retreat, they rebuilt.
Through disciplined execution and relentless effort, Darren and Suzanne not only stabilized the practice post-pandemic but grew it by over $1 million in annual revenue for the past 3 years. They then strategically redeployed capital into real estate, acquiring five properties between 2023 and 2025. Their portfolio now includes workforce housing for dental staff, a 13-unit apartment building, a value-add multifamily property being converted to short-term rentals, a mid-term rental home, and a high-capacity vacation Airbnb rental.
Today, they are focused on scaling into larger multifamily investments through syndications, partnering with like-minded investors who share a long-term perspective and commitment to excellence.
At the center of it all is a deeper mission: to build sustainable passive income that will one day fund the creation of a Christian K–12 school in Vermont or New Hampshire—an initiative grounded in faith, education, and community impact.
