Ziegler invests in private companies and funds, and sponsors private equity funds in growth-oriented, middle market companies through its principal investments & fund management practice. Ziegler invests in targeted sectors within healthcare and senior living & care. Since 2000, Ziegler has sponsored 19 funds representing over $300 million of committed equity capital and has invested over $22mm directly into privately held companies and private equity funds, some of which Ziegler sponsored. We seek to sponsor funds with investment policies reflective of our targeted industry sectors, and we seek to invest in companies, private equity funds, and management teams where we can provide strategic value through our investment banking teams or through our industry knowledge and connections.
