Zaki Manian, Angel Investor

Zaki Manian is a blockchain architect, entrepreneur, and investor recognized for shaping the infrastructure layer of Web3. He co-founded Sommelier Protocol, where he leads efforts to automate and optimize decentralized finance strategies, and also serves as Principal Cofounder of iqlusion, a core contributor to the Cosmos ecosystem. Earlier in his career, Zaki directed Tendermint Labs and founded Skuchain, where he applied cryptographic trust to global supply chains. He also served as Executive Director of the Trusted IoT Alliance, advancing standards for secure IoT integration with blockchain networks. As an active investor, Zaki has made investments in about 15 early-stage ventures such as Keplr, Commonware, and Berachain. His portfolio centers on decentralized infrastructure, interoperability, and cryptographic security.
