Zachary Sachen, Angel Investor

Zach is a technology leader with a get-stuff-done (GSD) mentality, takes an agile approach to building solutions, and has a strong outdoor affinity. He is a strong believer in the benefits of experimentation and change and uses his hands-on technology experience and business knowledge to help his clients think big when it comes to solving current problems and defining their future. Zach primarily focuses on working in the healthcare sector and has been doing so for the last ~20 years - working with payer, provider, and pharma/med device clients. Zach started his career with his technology consulting firm while in college and eventually went to work for Intel where he worked in various groups from sales and marketing to engineering/computer systems design. After Intel Zach went to work at a startup - Akamai Technologies. Having worked at both large and small companies Zach found a compelling role at a medium-sized firm - Diamond Management and Technology Consultants - where he worked at the intersection of business and technology. Zach now works as a Principal (Partner without a CPA) at PricewaterhouseCoopers where he leads PwC's Digital Integration practice. Before that, Zach led PwC's Global Agile and DevSecOps CoE and PwC's Applications and Emerging Technologies practice where he focused on leading a practice that delivered digital solutions for primarily healthcare clients. Zach has also been an Angel Investor for several years now. He gained some wins and some fail with his investments: NovaData Solutions (TBD), MIXhalo (TBD), Ministry of Supply (TBD), JukePop Serials (learning/fail), Wasatch Powder Monkeys (learning/fail), Trattoria LLC (partial win), HexArmor (win). Zach likes to spend his free time competing in sports (e.g. triathlons, ultra/long distance racing, mountain biking racing), skiing, golfing, and adventure traveling. Zach has competed in Freeride Ski competitions in the past and still loves big mountain skiing anywhere there's great snow and steep slopes.
