Vinay Tannan, Angel Investor

Vinay Tannan is a high‑energy business leader with expertise in technology innovation, business development, intellectual property law, and industry partnering. He is currently Head of RTI Technology Ventures, where he leads efforts in digital product development and technology transfer to drive growth and commercialization across RTI International. Previously, Vinay served as Head of Commercialization at RTI, managing a technology accelerator advancing innovations in healthcare, drug discovery, energy, and environmental sciences. He also held leadership roles as COO of EV Universe and continues to serve on the Board of Directors of APIE Therapeutics and the Council for Entrepreneurial Development (CED). As an angel investor, Vinay supports early‑stage ventures emerging from the UNC entrepreneurial community.
