Uniseed Ventures

Uniseed is Australia’s longest-running venture fund, operating at the Universities of Melbourne, Queensland, Sydney & New South Wales, and the CSIRO, with investment capital provided by these research organizations. These research organizations collectively spend $4 billion on research annually, making up over 40% of the total research spend in all research organizations in Australia. Uniseed’s investments cover a range of technology sectors. To date, the fund has exited four investments through trade sales; IT security technology (Vintela), semiconductor technology (Fultec), and two biotechnology investments (Fibrotech and Spinifex).
