About UA Student Real Estate Investment Fund

SREIF is a student-managed investment fund at UA that seeks to invest ~$500,000 of capital into real estate. Using both public and private investment strategies, SREIF prepares driven students interested in commercial real estate for a variety of career paths within the industry. Members are trained in the fundamentals of real estate investment and gain experience in analyzing both public REITs and private investment opportunities. In addition, SREIF members are provided with the invaluable experience of interacting with equity partners and getting exposure to the process behind live real estate deals. SREIF's purpose is to provide distinguished students at the University of Alabama with the necessary preparation & education to break into competitive internships and full-time positions within the real estate industry. The organization exists primarily for the educational benefit it provides students. It is classified as a tax-exempt non-profit that reinvests all profits back into the fund for continued education.
