Tyler Shileds is an Executive, an Angel Investor, and a Professor. Tyler advises, guides, and operates high tech startups primarily in the B2B security space. He is a former market analyst, engineer, product manager, marketing leader, and partnership manager. In other words he builds and grows businesses - in all aspects. He is a board advisor or board member at multiple firms and an investment advisor for several venture capital and debt firms. Prior experience includes starting, leading, and growing companies such as JupiterOne, CA Technologies, Sonatype, Signal Sciences, Veracode, Symantec, LURHQ, Secureworks, and @Stake. He is a well known expert in entrepreneurship and innovation in the cyber security market, having spoken at many major industry conferences. He also mentors and advises start up companies emerging in the mobile, social, cloud, and security markets.
