Tunitas Ventures invests in category-creating companies with few to no competitors, defensible business models, and unit economic models that are starting to work. Our primary value add is helping entrepreneurs with fundraising, with a playbook to start from, introductions to best-fit investors, back-channel feedback, and situation-specific strategic and tactical advice. Eric Ver Ploeg, the firm's Founding Partner, has spent eleven years as an MD in two large venture firms, with a say in over 500 Series A to Pre IPO prospective investments, with over 140 investments made. Before his venture career, he started two venture-backed companies, raising five rounds of funding from Kleiner Perkins, Mayfield, JMI Equity, VantagePoint, and others.
