Travis McPeak, Angel Investor

Travis McPeak is a senior information security professional with over a decade of experience across Databricks, Netflix, IBM, HP, and Symantec. He is currently leading security at Cursor, and previously co‑founded Resourcely (acquired by Anysphere). Travis is deeply involved in the security community as Bay Area OWASP chapter leader, co‑host of the 404 Security Not Found podcast, and a frequent speaker at conferences including AWS re:Invent, Black Hat USA, and QCon SF. He is also an active angel investor and advisor, backing and guiding startups in cloud security, application security, and developer tools. His portfolio includes Augur Security, Terra Security, Knostic, Leen, Zylon, Sweet Security, ConductorOne, Depot, Permiso Security, and Truffle Security, among others. Travis has contributed to open source as lead developer of Repokid and Bandit, and holds an MS in Information Assurance from Santa Clara University and a BS in Computer Science from CSU Long Beach.
