Tim Bechtold, Angel Investor

Tim Bechtold is an Angel Investor and Partner at Frontier Growth, a Charlotte-based growth equity firm focused exclusively on software and technology-enabled business services companies. Founded in 1999, Frontier has raised five funds representing $1.5 billion of committed capital. Frontier partners with management teams that can benefit from capital to accelerate growth, fund acquisitions or generate shareholder liquidity. The firm makes minority and majority equity investments in high-growth companies. Tim is highly involved with all aspects of the investment process including sourcing, deal execution, financial analysis, negotiation, strategic planning, and evaluation of organic and M&A growth opportunities for growth-stage software companies. He has been very fortunate to partner with many vertical software leaders and helped them build strong foundations for growth. Tim took his Master's degree in Business Administration (M.B.A.) with Honors at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
