We are early-stage investors and advisors to technology and Internet companies. Founded in 2007, Theorem Ventures invests in early-stage technology and internet companies. We provide seed and angel capital, along with experienced advice and hands-on help across a wide range of issues along the path to success. Partners Andy Getsey and James Hannon are entrepreneurs and angel investors who understand firsthand what it takes to launch and commercialize technologies and companies. Together, they've invested in 28 ventures. To date, 8 companies and one technology have been acquired; one company went public, and one company folded. Andy and James were the co-founders of Atomic PR, one of San Francisco and Silicon Valley's premier PR and social media agencies for startups, as well as a range of mainstream tech, consumer, and entertainment brands. The agency grew to 6 offices in the U.S., plus London and Munich. Atomic was named Technology PR Agency of the Year in 2010 and was acquired by Huntsworth in 2011, along with sister agency H30. Andy and James also co-developed ComContext, a game-changing communications analytics platform, which was also acquired.
