Thejo Kote is an early‑stage investor in more than 60 startups and an LP in multiple venture capital funds. He is the Founder and former CEO of Airbase, a leading procure‑to‑pay solution acquired by Paylocity in 2024 for ~$400M. Airbase, now Paylocity for Finance, streamlined procurement, AP automation, expense management, and corporate cards into a single platform. Previously, Thejo co‑founded Automatic Labs, which built connected car hardware and software and was acquired by SiriusXM for $115M, and NextDrop, a water management startup. He also served as a Board Member at TiE Silicon Valley. As an investor, his portfolio includes Rillet, Aleph, TeamOhana, Palette, Pluto, Mendel, Candidate Labs, and HeadSpin, reflecting his focus on fintech, enterprise SaaS, and emerging technologies.
