The StarTUP

The StarTUp Accelerator is a program that helps founders of innovative and disruptive ventures accelerate their growth and impact. The program is hosted by Towson University, a leading institution for entrepreneurship education in Maryland. The program offers a $10,000 equity-free stipend, mentorship, and access to the StarTUp at the Armory space, a state-of-the-art entrepreneurship hub in downtown Towson. The program runs two cohorts every year, one in winter and one in summer, each lasting eight weeks. The program is open to both TU-affiliated and non-affiliated founders who have begun to introduce their products or services into the market. The program culminates in a showcase event where the fellows pitch their ventures to campus, community, and business leaders.
