The City of Superior Small Business Grant Program

The City of Superior is proud to offer our Small Business Grant Program (SBGP) for qualifying local business owners and entrepreneurs. The City will provide grant funding available as reimbursement for up to 50% of total project costs, not to exceed $20,000. Grant applications will be reviewed quarterly as outlined in the grant application documents. Grant award winners have 12 months to finish their project and submit receipts for reimbursement. Each grant application is subject to approval from the Plan Commission and final approval from the Common Council. Previous recipients and those affiliated with grantees through shared buildings or business partnerships must wait three years from the date of grant disbursement before they are eligible to apply again. Qualifying Businesses: ▪ Privately owned businesses with a commercial storefront or “brick & mortar” location ▪ Non-profits directly related to money-generating food service or retail organizations ▪ Non-profit arts & entertainment organizations
