Ted McAleer, Angel Investor

Ted McAleer is a Veteran, COO, Executive Director, Startup Coach, Board Member, Founder, and Angel Investor. Ted considers himself fortunate to be a West Point and United States Army-trained Leader of strong moral character, a University of Virginia-trained systems engineer (industrial engineering), and a Harvard MBA-trained business executive and leader with deep experience in Starting, Incubating, Developing, Transforming, Leading, Growing and Investing in a host of people, teams, companies, and organizations in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors and start-up to Fortune 500 sized corporations. He is recognized by his peers and colleagues as a principle-based leader with deep and diverse operations, product, and business development experiences in a broad range of technologies that disrupt the status quo, drive business efficiency, and enable change. His main interests are working with and investing in entrepreneurs. His investment areas include Digital Health, EdTech, CleanTech, MilTech, and others. He is a Co-Founder and Board Member of Utah's most active Angel investment network with over 200 investing members. He also likes fostering and promoting Educational alignment with the technology-centric jobs of the future. He mentored dozens of young leaders since 2005.
