Standish Capital, a Duxbury, MA-based private investment group, invests in a diverse range of opportunities, from pre-seed ventures to Series D companies. Duxbury-based VERC Enterprises started in 1977 with a single location in Marshfield. Leo and his brother grew the company to a chain of over 30 locations before selling the company in 2021. Succeeding the sale of his convenience store chain, Leo started Standish Capital. Leo decided to utilize his capital, connections, and extensive network of business relationships from his years of running the business to assist entrepreneurs on their own journeys.
