About Squadron Capital

Squadron Capital is a private investment vehicle funded by a Chicago-based trust and led from its headquarters near Hartford, Connecticut. It acquires and invests in operating companies in the US and abroad, with a mission of long-term, multi-generational ownership and a decentralized governance structure that lets leadership teams run their own companies. Its business operations focus on three areas: acquisitions of operating companies with revenues of up to $100 million; equity financing of up to $150 million; and investing alongside its private equity partner, Brooke Private Equity Advisors. Typical companies of interest are growing, with revenues of $10 million to $100 million. Its acquisitions to date have been primarily in medical contract manufacturing, though it is not limited to a location or industry. Portfolio companies include Structure Medical, Vilex, Forum Plastics, and Squadron Defense Group, and its financing activity includes OrthoPediatrics and Atec Spine. It expects portfolio companies to be employers of choice and active philanthropically in their communities.
