Sohail is the Founder & CEO of Destiny (D/XYZ), an investment management company that provides public access to the private tech markets. Prior to founding Destiny, Sohail was the Founder and CEO of Forge, a global private securities marketplace building trading, custody, and data infrastructure to meet the needs of high-growth unicorn companies, employees, and investors. Today, Forge transacts billions in pre-IPO stock annually, has over $14B in assets under custody, and has raised over $250M in financing from institutions, including our partners: Temasek, Deutsche Börse, BNP Paribas, TD Ameritrade, Wells Fargo, and Munich Re. Sohail is also a seed/early-stage stage investor in amazing startups. He looks for things that improve the way people go about their everyday lives, things that make people say "What would I do without that?"​ His investment thesis: "I'm not trying to find the latest cool app or me-too company. Instead, I invest in companies that have a real business. I look for startups that leverage emerging trends and are led by technical founders." He is an angel investor in 100+ companies.
