Social Impact Capital

Social Impact Capital specializes in impact investing, which we define as investments that can deliver top decile returns in addition to a positive social impact. We focus on the "essentials of human need"​ — energy, water, food, health, environment, education, housing, access to capital, and social justice. We are a research-driven venture capital firm that invests as early as possible into the “best ideas in impact.” Too much of venture capital has gone into “backyard problems” rather than the grand global challenges. We exist to fund and support founders working on the hardest problems in the world. We are the earliest investors in mission-driven founders until their companies are attractive to top-tier VCs. In our Fund I, we have a 69% rate of follow-on investment by top-tier firms and a 100% follow-on rate overall.
