Siqi Chen, Angel Investor

Siqi Chen is the CEO and CFO of Runway, a finance automation platform helping businesses manage and forecast financial performance. Since 2020, he has led the company’s mission to modernize business operations, while also serving as CFO since 2023. He is also a board member at Sandbox VR, a leader in immersive virtual reality experiences. Before Runway, Chen held executive roles at Sandbox VR as CEO and President, as well as VP of Growth at Postmates, where he played a key role in scaling the platform prior to its acquisition by Uber. His career also includes advisory work for Laserlike, a search and AI company later acquired by Apple. Chen is also an active angel investor with over forty investments across technology, AI, and consumer sectors. His portfolio includes companies such as Emergent, Rork, Redcar, Wordware, and Troveo AI, spanning pre-seed to Series A rounds. His investments focus on AI innovation, developer tools, and next-generation platforms that reshape productivity and digital interaction.
