Shishir Mehrotra is the CEO of Grammarly and a former Co-Founder and CEO of Coda, where he helped redefine the future of work through AI-driven productivity tools. Following the 2024 merger of Grammarly and Coda, Shishir now leads the combined company in building an intelligent platform that integrates writing, collaboration, and automation for millions of users worldwide. Before founding Coda, Shishir served as YouTube’s Chief Product and Technology Officer at Google, where he helped scale the platform into one of the world’s largest media ecosystems. Earlier in his career, he led product management at Microsoft, shaping key productivity and collaboration tools that continue to impact modern software design. As an active angel investor, Shishir has made investments in around 17 startups, including Arta Finance, Descript, XMTP, and Sundial.
