Shayaan Negit, MD, MBA is a Consultant, Doctor of Medicine, and Angel Investor. Shayaan is a physician with four years of direct healthcare experience in nursing homes and urgent care in NJ and NY. He has authored several publications on asthma and COVID-19 in journals such as the British Journal of Medicine and InfezMed. He is also a recent MBA graduate from the Rutgers Business School with a concentration in Finance. He is passionate about medicine, biotechnology, and venture capitalism. He is looking to combine his knowledge and skills in medicine and finance to bring about better health equity through investments in early startups aimed at solving legacy issues in healthcare.
