Shawn Wang is an angel investor focused on artificial intelligence and developer technology startups. His investments include Julius AI, an AI data analysis platform, Sauna by Wordware, an AI application development platform, and Brightwave, an AI-powered enterprise research platform. His investment activity has centered on seed-stage companies. Shawn participated in the seed rounds of Julius AI, Sauna by Wordware, and Brightwave, where the companies raised a total of $10M, $30M, and $6M, respectively. Shawn has been an Advisor at Cognition for nearly a year, supporting the AI software company. He has also served as Curator of the AI Engineer Summit for over three years and Editor of the Latent Space Podcast for four years.
