Semilla Climate Capital is a venture capital firm headquartered in Austin. We are focused on Climate Tech hard-tech solutions that reduce energy consumption and/or mitigate damage to the environment. We seek out companies based in Texas and middle America. We prioritize business-to-business (B2B) models that provide customers with a near-term ROI, and companies that have a clear path to early revenue. We are particularly interested in pre-seed and seed stage companies, aiming for great multiples on reasonable total raises. And we do not typically lead rounds. Semilla Climate Capital engages with companies driving improvements in the environment. Additionally, we affirmatively support underrepresented founders. Our dedicated portfolio support team contributes time and expertise to our portfolio companies as well as connects them to our extensive network of entrepreneurs, investors, and executives.
