SCP Ventures primarily invests in early-stage healthcare companies, with a focus on medical technologies and IT services, which are disrupting established industry verticals or filling niche segments of the market that are overlooked by larger corporations. We typically co-invest in Seed, Series A, and Series B rounds. When we invest in earlier stages of a company’s lifecycle, we will look to continue to support the company’s future growth plans by reserving capital for follow-on capital raises. SCP Ventures was born out of the Sustainergy Capital model of providing partners with not just capital, but value-added advice and capabilities that help portfolio companies grow both domestically and in select international markets. SCP Ventures combines traditional investment backgrounds with deep industry-specific knowledge in order to assist portfolio companies at all stages of growth.
