Scott Wu, Angel Investor

Scott Wu is the Co-Founder and CEO of Cognition, the AI software engineering company behind Devin — widely regarded as one of the first AI agents capable of handling end-to-end software engineering tasks — which also acquired Windsurf, the AI-native IDE. Before Cognition, Scott co-founded Lunchclub, a professional networking platform that used AI to match people for one-on-one meetings, where he served as CTO for five years. Earlier, he worked as a software engineer at Addepar, a wealth management technology firm. He has also made about five angel investments, spanning AI and software tooling, with the most recent recorded ones including The Interaction Company of California, a human-computer interaction startup; Beacon Software, an enterprise software platform; and Paradigm, a crypto developer tooling company.
