Sarah Friar, Angel Investor

Sarah Friar is an angel investor with investments in technology, fintech, healthcare, and enterprise software startups. Her portfolio includes Build, a construction technology platform; RESPONSIBLE, a sustainability technology company; MedAll, a healthcare education platform; and Cloudsmith, a cloud-native software artifact management platform. Her investment activity spans seed, Series A, and Series B financings. Sarah participated in Build's seed round, where the company raised a total of $8.5M, as well as the seed rounds for RESPONSIBLE and MedAll, and the Series A round for Cloudsmith, which raised a total of $6.6M, $3.4M, and $15M, respectively. Sarah has served as Chief Financial Officer at OpenAI for over two years, leading the company's global finance organization. She also serves on the boards of Walmart, ConsenSys, and Stanford University, with board tenures ranging from several months to more than eight years.
