Samantha Fernandez Keys is an Angel & Impact Investor. Sam is an investor and operator passionate about maximizing human potential and livelihoods. She is currently supporting start-ups and philanthropy across a spectrum of industries/issue areas including health, autism, financial & workforce inclusion, education, B2B/SaaS, and B2C/consumer internet for underserved and expanding markets in the US and Latin America. She funds seed-stage to growth-stage companies primarily via angel groups and syndicates and is open to serving on philanthropic boards / advisory councils. Previously she held product, operations, and strategy roles for 12 years in the corporate technology and social enterprise fields (employers and engagements included Adobe, The Bridgespan Group, Root Capital, Acumen, U.S. Social Innovation Fund, Detroit Revitalization Fellowship) and earned an MBA from UC Berkeley with a focus on technology, marketing and impact investing. Her professional sweet spot is at the nexus of strategy and operations in roles that allow me to organize chaos and execute cross-functionally while advancing a broader strategic vision. Over a decade ago, she was also a committed semi-professional salsa and West Coast swing dancer having performed across the US and Europe, attending hundreds of dance conventions, and getting to connect with people from all walks of life.
