Sam Hodges, Angel Investor

Sam Hodges is the Co-Founder and CEO of Vouch Insurance, a venture-backed digital commercial insurance platform tailored to high-growth startups. He previously co-founded and led Funding Circle US—scaling it to over $1.5 billion in originations—and also served as Interim CEO of WorkingPoint. Sam is also an angel investor. His two most recent investments include: ▪ Stream, a generative AI platform for workers’ compensation case management products, where he participated in a Seed round (Oct 2024); ▪ Meanwhile, a startup delivering flexible finance tools for small businesses, also participated in via a Seed round (Jun 2023). He brings deep expertise in fintech, marketplace-building, and operational leadership to his selective early-stage investing, with a focus on transformative technologies in insurance, data infrastructure, and productivity.
