RoundTable Healthcare Partners is an operating-oriented private equity firm focused exclusively on the healthcare industry. RoundTable was founded in 2001 and is based in Lake Forest, Illinois. Focus and Approach We invest exclusively in the healthcare industry. RoundTable’s investment strategy is built on the cornerstone of partnership. We have a long history and track record of partnering with owner/founders, family companies, entrepreneurs, and management teams. We also have a unique skillset in executing complex corporate carve-outs. Prior to any investment, RoundTable works with our partners to define a growth strategy, to identify and plan for current and future strategic challenges, and to create a roadmap to success. Our partners often retain meaningful ownership stakes, which have resulted in significant value creation through a “second bite of the apple”. We strive to maintain the culture our partners have created. We typically structure our investments such that RoundTable and our partners (including our management teams) own the exact same equity securities, with no preference or distinction between shareholders. RoundTable’s employees have a meaningful economic interest in the firm’s investments, as we represent one of the largest investors in our funds.
