He was the founding CTO of HomeAway (NASDAQ: AWAY), where he helped build the team and technology that transformed the company into a $3B global leader and defined the short-term and vacation rental market. With more than 30 years of experience as a technology leader, entrepreneur, and executive, Ross has dedicated his career to transforming how consumers interact with technology. His interests span the consumer internet, security, and mobile innovation, with a focus on using technology to build better products and a better world. Ross serves on the boards of American National Bank, the Santa Fe Institute, and KLRU, Austin’s PBS affiliate. He is also an active mentor and angel investor in the technology community.
