Rod Van Sciver, Angel Investor

Rod Van Sciver is a nonprofit founder and angel investor. He founded EFAC Kenya - Education For All Children works through a local university to provide scholarships and mentoring to 500 very bright kids from humble backgrounds who deserve an education. He's a Board Member at Media Mate LLC and SemiNex Corporation. He's also been an angel investor and an active member of a Portsmouth-based angel group. He wrote: "Imagine a meritorious world in which all citizens, rich and poor, young and old, black and white, have access to a quality education; Where the poorest slum kid has the same chance at the gold ring as the rich kid from the the upper East Side. What would our world look like? As a former business owner, angel investor and founder of an education nonprofit, I can see that world and it's a better place."
