Reuse & Repair Grants

These grants fund innovative projects that incorporate reuse, repair, deconstruction, product or process redesign, reduction, recovery, and redistribution of goods, and other materials. The goal is to minimize the need for disposal or recycling, and instead foster waste reduction to support environmental sustainability and conservation of natural resources, and stimulate economic activity in the reuse and recovery sectors. Who can apply -This grant is available to nonprofit and for-profit organizations. -Organizations with open grants will need to contact current grant manager to assess repeat funding eligibility. Eligible projects -Projects must support reuse, repair, recovery and/or redistribution activities (not food waste related). -Projects must be located in and/or serve the residents and/or businesses of Alameda County.
