Quona has a rich heritage based on our strategic relationship with Accion, a leader in financial inclusion for over 60 years. Accion was Quona’s initial sponsor and anchor investor, and with whom Quona pursues a shared purpose of dramatically improving access and quality of financial services to the underserved. Quona’s predecessor—Frontier Investments Group—was created on the balance sheet of Accion, which was early to recognize the power of technology to accelerate financial services innovation. Quona continues its collaboration with Accion Venture Lab, Accion Digital Transformation Fund, and the Center for Financial Inclusion.
