Potentum Partners is a private markets asset manager with offices across Australia, the United States and Singapore. The firm provides institutional-quality access and underwriting to global private equity markets for institutions, family offices and high-net-worth investors, with a focus on alignment and cost efficiency. Potentum actively manages a concentrated portfolio of top-tier, skill-driven fund managers and direct co-investments, with the objective of generating returns that compensate investors for the illiquidity premium inherent in private markets. Potentum was established in 2019 by three Founding Partners who spun out of Future Fund, having built and run the private equity strategy at that institution over more than a decade. During that period, the Founding Partners assembled and managed one of the largest and most globally diversified private equity programs managed by an Australian institution, generating a net IRR of ~20% p.a. across buyout, venture, growth and secondaries investments made in their prior roles.
